Leipzig brings forward dates to avoid a clash

New dates for BODY LOOK and bodytex: 27 to 29 January 2006

The international trade fairs BODY LOOK and bodytex will already be held on the last weekend in January in 2006. The international bodywear, beach and legwear sector will meet up at the Leipzig Exhibition Centre from 27 to 29 January 2006. Representatives from industry, the retail trade, planning and design will already be here on 26 January 2006 to discuss current market developments at the 10^th Bodywear, Beach & Legwear Innovations Forum. “The new dates relate to the rescheduling of the Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris”, explains Kirstin Deutelmoser, project director for BODY LOOK and bodytex. Linked in with other fashion fairs, the Paris underwear fair has had to give way to another event so that it cannot be presented on the last January weekend in 2006, but on the first weekend in February. “Parallel dates for BODY LOOK/bodytex and the Salon International de la Lingerie are very inconvenient for exhibitors and visitors at both events”, adds Deutelmoser. “In the interests of our shared customers and in close cooperation with our Paris colleagues, we have corrected the dates.” The summer edition of BODY LOOK and bodytex is booked in for 21 to 23 July 2006.

This year (2005), around 300 brands and labels are expected to be at Germany’s only international trade fair for bodywear, beach and legwear from 22 to 24 July. The parallel bodytex – International trade Fair for Bodywear Fabrics and Accessories - will be premiered this summer with about 40 exhibitors.
